“The 2016 Territory election disclosure returns for candidates, donors to candidates as well as publishers and broadcasters, were released today and are available at ntec.nt.gov.au/returns lodged,”
NT Electoral Commissioner Iain Loganathan said.
“A compliance review of these disclosure returns has been completed by the accounting firm BDO and their report is also available on the NTEC website,” he said.
The NT Electoral Act states that election disclosure returns must be provided to the Commission within 15 weeks after polling day. The Commission must publish these returns 25 weeks after polling day.
Mr Loganathan advised that it is important to note that the 2015-2016 annual disclosure returns for registered political parties, associated entities and related donors will be released on
Wednesday, 1 March 2017.
