Palmerston election - postal votes counted

PALMERSTON ELECTION – POSTAL VOTES COUNTED

Postal votes returned and accepted have been counted and first preference results updated at ntec.nt.gov.au/results.

A recheck of ALL votes continues during the week with ballot papers entered into the computerised vote counting system.

Postal votes can be received by the Commission up until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, 3 April. After this, the final postal votes will be counted, the quota determined and the distribution of preferences conducted. Final results will then be made available at ntec.nt.gov.au/results.

The declaration of election results will take place at City of Palmerston council chambers, Civic Plaza on Tuesday afternoon.

Candidates, media, and the public are welcome to attend the declaration.
